The Team at the Finish Line in John O Groats

​They've done it!

Huge congratulations to AVSC Friend and Member @Miranda Gillott and her team who have cycled the length of the UK from Lands End to John O Groats. We are sure the whole club will join us in congratulating everyone who took part for this incredible feat.

As you may have heard, the endeavour was undertaken in memory of Miranda's husband, Martin, who sadly passed away in 2020 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

The team have raised a significant amount for Pancreatic Cancer UK as well as the Ghurka Welfare Trust. We have included here links to both donation sites, as well as a few photos of Miranda and the team at the finish line.

Miranda and fellow skier, Steph Ashton, who met at the AICC races when Steph was racing for rival club, Kandahar. Steph joined for the second half of the LEJOG journey.
